Re: New Things
Tue, February 5, 2008 - 7:43 PMI find myself wondering...
...If we may reasonably presume that she herself wasn't an urban youth? How can we be sure of these things? Are you certain she wasn't young? Are you sure she didn't live downtown/in the inner city/in the 'hood? How *does* one discern these demographics?
And how safe, I wonder, is the presumption that no urban youths who hang pants off their asses are ever Lesbian?
How do you know that they haven't been designated "honorary Lesbians," as I have twice been, by beloved Lesbian friends??? (I, being neither urban nor a youth, am clearly beyond those realms, but I don't know any Lesbians with as much facial hair as I have, but still, I have very definitely been granted membership twice.)
And we're sure that she wasn't bi, or a genderqueer tranny? That she was, in fact, a she and not a zie?
Really--there are so many things we can't know in this postmodern society of ours... So little is certain, even as so little is really new...
<sigh>

Re: New Things
Tue, February 5, 2008 - 9:26 PMShe kinda struck me as a midwesterner who found her way here, and while there are cities in the midwest, they don't count in the elitist sense of urbanity primarily presiding on the East Coast.
NOw while she may in fact be Bi, given her overheard gushings over girls every few days when I run into to her, she may in fact be a lesbian, or in some transitional phase where she might be identified as such.
(pants off ass: shakes head)
In further new things encountered, as I was giving my co-worker a massage today as I do every few, I encountered a hard-on in my pants and well, as I was trying to keep the chair from moving, I believe her back got inadvertently fondled by a getting towards hard wonderwand for a split second when the chair slid a bit.
That caused a rush of blood to my other head and an internal giggle.
All of this came about after I told her an anecdote about a girlfriend of mine once who -when I was out work for about 3-4 months, withheld sex.
However, she would tweak out her back alot with stress and I'm pretty darned good in the massage arena intuitively, so we ended up trading sex for massages, and all of that left a crappy taste in my mouth because I really do not like to be be manipulated. So my thinking shifted then and there into something more commodified.
So, say about a week after I told this anecdote to my officemates, she asked for a massage.
Yes. I really like her. She's terrific.
So yeah, that's the cool thing about post-modernity: you can sort of extrapolate the most interesting connections and possibilities in the universe with this god-almighty relativizing tool, especially on the internet.

Thu, February 7, 2008 - 11:22 PMI don't think moonshine has antioxidants!
Everyone needs those!
Daily report: I don't think I saw or learned anything new today, except perhaps a but more cleavage of my nice officemate.
Did have a reminder that ya really need to pay close attention to people. The landlady and the potential buyer are both whack and hate each other, and oddly trying to play me off the other party.
Weird stupid buttheads.
Just gotta make sure I don't get screwed, and it's a little foggy being in mercury retro right now. So, I've been getting informed opinions and legal counsel on the matter at hand, cause I need the extra eyes and minds to see things I'm not, or know less about.
Everyone is a space cadet at work as well...they don't know why.
Fuggin Mercury.
Back when I drank, I would have tried that moonshine just to say that I had, and then been done with it. I outgrew a taste for liquor when I was 21 or so.

on a telephone pole across the street from a construction site.
Apparently I'm not supposed to watch the welder lights!
